Celebrate the season in all its glittering glory at the 25th annual Holiday of Lights, featuring thousands of lights, the water tower Christmas Tree, and special performances Fridays and Saturdays of the first two weekends in December.
The Holiday of Lights, a staple of the Northshore’s Christmas season, celebrates its 25th anniversary on Koop Drive in Mandeville! The month-long, free event features thousands of Christmas lights, carnival rides and performances from local schools and youth organizations. Festivities are traditionally held during the first two weekends of December before transforming into a drive-thru experience until December 31.
Lighted displays are open to the public from dusk 'til dawn and performances from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. December 6, 7, 13 and 14. All events, activities, and drive-thru displays are free and open to the public.
The event begins December 7th with a parade and lighting of the water tower at 6 p.m. Last year's event featured a laser light display, two snow machines and tram rides, in addition to annual favorites like pictures with Santa at the caboose, carnival rides, food trucks, kids' crafts and more. Details about this year's activities will be announced in November.
