Tubing on the Bogue Chitto River

Tubing is a relaxing way to explore the Bogue Chitto River as it wends from Washington Parish into St. Tammany. Several tubing companies bring you up river, outfit you with heavy duty inner tubes (there are even ones for your ice chest!), then pick you back up after a few hours of floating. Traveler's Tip: Bring plenty of sunscreen and wear water shoes.
