Visit The Northshore’s offices are located in Mandeville on Highway 59, just north of Interstate 12 (Exit 65). Our recently renovated Visitor Center offers the award-winning The Northshore visitor guide, brochures, local magazines and information on attractions throughout St. Tammany Parish and across Louisiana.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a complimentary coffee, cold water or soft drink, refill water bottles, and use the updated public restrooms. A surrounding boardwalk winds through native Southeast Louisiana swamp habitat and connects to the St. Tammany Parish Government Administrative Complex, the Tammany Trace hike-and-bike trail, and Kids Konnection Playground.

Who We Are
The St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission dba Visit The Northshore is a public, quasi-governmental agency created on Nov. 18, 1976. The commission is governed by a seven-member board of directors appointed by the St. Tammany Parish Council and Parish President. In other destinations, our organization may be called a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) or Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Our Mission
To market and promote St. Tammany Parish as a highly desirable destination for visitors and thereby increase the economic impact of tourism on the area.
Brand Promise
To deliver the good life, nourish the heart, season the soul and bring communities together.
Brand Positioning
We are creating an easy and accessible escape for leisure travelers, business travelers and local residents alike. Visit The Northshore delivers world-class culinary flavors, thriving downtowns, aspirational adventures and plenty of outdoor recreation for one or many to enjoy. With a network of unified communities to explore and water always within reach, Visit The Northshore is committed to cultivating the vacation mindset.
How We're Funded
