**AS OF MARCH 2023: The St. Tammany Art Association's home, also known as the Art House, sustained significant damage in Hurricane Ida and is closed until further notice. Art classes and other programming are being held at Covington Masonic Lodge #188, located at 130 N. Columbia St. (near Columbia Street Landing).
The St. Tammany Art Association (STAA) is a member- and community-supported 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that hosts a gallery of works by member artists and studio art education for children and adults. Serving as a catalyst for the arts, the organization serves the needs of emerging and established artists in the region. The STAA provides arts education to artists of all ages and experience levels through a wide variety of media, exhibition opportunities to artist members and visiting artists, and direct community engagement arts market to the community. It is also the producer of the Covington Art Market, in conjunction with the City of Covington, annual festivals Spring for Art and Fall for Art, and other community activities.
