The Northshore Food Bank Resale shop in Covington serves the community through raising funds which support food bank programs. The shop regularly provides clothing and housewares free of charge to individuals in need, including Food Bank participants, people impacted by disasters such as fires or flooding, as well as those participating in programs at other non-profits including Safe Harbor, Family Promise, James Storehouse and more. One-hundred percent of net profits from the resale shop goes toward feeding over 400 individuals and families each week across St. Tammany and Washington Parishes.

The Resale Shop relies solely on the generosity of the Northshore community, accepting and selling donations of everything from major appliances in good working order to like-new, gently used furniture, antiques and rare items, bikes, skateboards, scooters, clothing, home décor, housewares, small home appliances, jewelry, movies, music, purses, luggage, shoes, sporting goods, tools and board games.
