Are you ready for an adventure? Canoe and Trail Adventures offers eco-friendly canoe & kayak swamp tours on scenic Bogue Falaya River in Covington and Cane Bayou in Mandeville. Join one of the guided tours (one-hour, three-hour and five-hour outings, or one of their highly requested Twilight or Moonlight Paddles. All equipment is provided, including paddles, life vests, waterproof cases for phones, compact cameras and car keys, and waterproof bags for larger items. Drinking water is provided, but feel free to bring along a snack (coolers welcome).

If a guided trip is not for you, Canoe & Trail also offers kayak (solo and tandem), canoe and paddleboard rentals, delivering boats with all the necessary gear to the launch and providing paddle lessons so you can be off on your adventure. The Bogue Falaya River usually has a gentle flow, great for stand-up paddling, and has a sandy beach to stop when you're ready for a rest or a picnic.

Trips in Mandeville launch at the Cane Bayou boat launch. Located on Hwy. 190 just east of Mandeville, the scenic stream flows into Lake Pontchartrain and is the western boundary of Fontainebleau State Park (62883 Hwy. 1089) and the eastern boundary of the Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge (61389 Hwy. 434, Lacombe).

To reduce "touches" on-site, advance payment and waiver are available on their website. With over 100 safety vests, most are used only once per day, then disinfected and dried in the sun. Round-trip shuttle transportation from New Orleans is available. Weather cancellations are fully refundable.

Since 1972, Canoe & Trail has guided countless people into the Louisiana swamps, streams, creeks, and wilderness areas in numerous states, striving to make each adventure a unique experience as a blend of information and relaxation.
