Visit The Northshore is proud to celebrate Senior Sales Manager Zondra White Jones on being named the 2026 Sam O. Gilmer Supplier of the Year by the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP).
Recognized as the highest honor presented to supplier members, the award celebrates exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to advancing the government meetings industry. The national recognition highlights Zondra’s long-standing commitment to the profession and the impact she continues to make through her work both locally and across the country.
The honor comes during an already remarkable year for Zondra. Earlier this spring, Visit The Northshore announced that she had been selected as a recipient of SGMP’s prestigious Legacy Award, recognizing her years of service, volunteerism, leadership, and commitment to strengthening the organization and supporting its long-term success. She officially accepted that award during the SGMP National Education Conference held June 9–11 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
While attending the conference, Zondra also served as an emcee for SGMP’s 2026 National Education Conference—her first time emceeing a national conference. In that role, she helped lead and energize attendees from across the country while representing both Visit The Northshore and Louisiana’s tourism industry on a national stage.
A member of the SGMP National Board of Directors, Zondra has built a reputation as a passionate advocate for the meetings and tourism industries. Through her leadership, industry involvement, and commitment to service, she continues to elevate the profile of St. Tammany Parish and Louisiana as premier destinations for meetings and events.
As SGMP’s 2026 Sam O. Gilmer Supplier of the Year, Zondra joins an elite group of industry leaders whose contributions have helped shape the future of government meetings and professional development. Her achievements reflect not only her personal commitment to excellence but also Visit The Northshore’s ongoing dedication to leadership within the tourism and meetings industries.
