With more than 2,000 alligators, Insta-Gator Ranch—the only hatchery in the state open to the public—is working to preserve Louisiana wetlands and the American alligator. Visitors can watch guides safely catch an alligator; observe and feed congregations from a protected walkway; and play with baby alligators in the touch pool.
