Northshore Parades:
Mardi Gras 2024
in St. Tammany

Around the world, Louisiana is known for Mardi Gras and the parades and parties that accompany the occasion. The Carnival momentum kicks off on January 6, (known as Three Kings Day, or Twelfth Night or the Epiphany) and continues through the Sunday after Mardi Gras Day with two fun dog parades. The Louisiana Northshore parades are "Gee-rated" with an emphasis on family-fun entertainment. Parade-goers participate in the celebration by dressing in costume to match the Krewe's chosen theme (or creating one of their own.) It's Mardi Gras! Check out the Northshore parade schedule, catch the spirit and you'll score some throws at parades in Slidell, Covington, Mandeville and other local communities on the Louisiana Northshore.

Celebrate Carnival in the place where free, family-fun memories are made on Louisiana Northshore.
