Every Wave Welcome is a Visit The Northshore initiative to help build a more welcoming community—for everyone who visits and everyone who calls the Northshore home.

Businesses that join take the Partner Pledge of Allyship and display the Every Wave Welcome sticker, signaling their commitment to creating spaces where all people feel safe, seen, and valued. From restaurants and hotels to attractions and service providers, participants are making hospitality more thoughtful and welcoming.

The initiative highlights everyday choices that make a real difference—like offering menus with larger print, providing changing tables in family or all-gender restrooms, choosing size-inclusive seating, installing ramps or curb cutouts, offering quiet spaces to care for a child or take a sensory break, and more. It’s about recognizing that everyone deserves to feel welcome.
