One of the largest arts and crafts expos in the south, the 39th annual Christmas Extravaganza Arts & Crafts Expo by Steinhauer Productions returns to the St. Tammany Parish Fairgrounds for three big days, December 1-3, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission at the gate is $8 for persons age 13 and up, free for kids 12 and under.

Held each year on the first full weekend of December, the Christmas Extravaganza Arts & Crafts Expo is fun and easy to shop under covered pavilions, making this an ideal Christmas Village shopping experience. Some 400 vendors from a multi-state area have anything you will want to fill your Christmas list with unique products made by artists and craftspersons. Mediums include woodwork, original art, jewelry, leather crafts, ladies' and children's clothing, metal art, candles, stained glass, floral, hair bows, furniture, home decor, gifts & boutiques and more.

When you're ready for a break, enjoy great Louisiana & Southern dishes, including hot homemade fudge, glazed nuts and Emma's pralines. The children's village has jumps and rides, and Santa will be there, so bring the kiddos and camera for holiday pictures.

Parking is free, but limited inside the grounds, so come early to claim your spot! This event is pet friendly; however, all pets must be on a leash or held in a secure carrier.
